I AM an enterprising and investigative journalist with five plus years of experience. I currently cover climate change and transportation for POLITICO's E&E News and am a proud member of our PEN Guild union. Previously a freelance reporter and editor, I wrote about the politics of identity, land and religion, Congress, and climate change for a number of outlets. My work has appeared in Scientific American, TIME, Salon, Science Magazine, Jewish Currents, +972 Magazine, U.S. News & World Report, The Miami Herald and more. I was awarded a Simon Rockower Award — first place for Excellence in Interfaith Relations Reporting — from the American Jewish Press Association for my Jewish Currents magazine piece, “Questioning the Covenant.” I hold a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
