I AM an enterprising and investigative journalist with five plus years of experience. I currently cover climate change and transportation for POLITICO's E&E News. Previously a freelance writer, reporter, and editor, I wrote about the politics of identity, land and religion, Congress, and climate change for a number of outlets. I am an episode editor for Tight Tipped, a storytelling podcast that makes public what is often considered "private" pain. I have produced work about coastal land loss in Louisiana, Puerto Rico's energy crisis, ex-coal miners turned activists in West Virginia, and, extensively, the rollback of environmental regulations under the Trump administration. My work has appeared in Scientific American, TIME, Salon, Science Magazine, Jewish Currents, +972 Magazine, U.S. News & World Report, The Miami Herald and more. I hold a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
