ARIANNA SKIBELL is an energy policy reporter at E&E News, covering the power industry's transition in a warming world. Previously a freelance writer, reporter, and editor, Arianna wrote about the politics of identity, land and religion, Congress, and climate change for a number of outlets. She an episode editor for Tight Tipped, a storytelling podcast that makes public what is often considered "private" pain. She has produced work about Palestinian farming practices in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, coastal land loss in Louisiana, Puerto Rico's energy crisis, ex-coal miners turned activists in West Virginia, and, extensively, the rollback of environmental regulations under the Trump administration.
